Fitness Boot Camp FAQ’s

Where we meet: Each class will meet on the 5th floor fitness center of the Amli on 2nd building. It is located downtown on 3rd street between Guadalupe and San Antonio St. Most classes, we will head outside to various locations near Town Lake, and sometimes we will stay inside depending on the weather.


What we do: Each session is 60 minutes long and includes various exercises and routines. There will be a mix of running drills, body weight exercises, calisthenics, plyometrics, use of dumbbells, bands and medicine balls. Also we will focus on core work including some yoga and pilate style movements.


Who is the class for: Boot camps are great for people of all fitness levels. Whether you are already super fit, or haven’t worked out in years, the program is designed for everyone to work at their own pace to achieve your unique fitness goals.


What you’ll need: For each class, each participant will need to bring with them a water bottle, yoga mat, and a pair of dumbbells (5lb or 6lb for women and 6lb or 7lb for men) We will use the weights for most classes (you can borrow them from a friend or get a pair from Academy Sports for 10 or 12 dollars.)
